Autumn weekend package at the Old Pine Husky Lodge with half board.
The colours of Lapland at their best! The foliage season starts in late August or early September, and goes on well into October. In Finnish language it’s called ruska, and many argue it’s the most scenic period of the year.
Birch leaves turn yellow, moss turns red and the evergreens stay green as they should. The palette is wonderful, and the Old Pine Husky Lodge is the best place to enjoy this wonder of nature. One of the hidden gems of Lapland, the Martimoaapa Nature Reserve, is a mere 10 minutes drive, and allows for endless hiking. You can choose the rugged hilly landscape of the Penikka hills, or the easy and family-friendly meadow close to the Martimo lake.
Once you are done with your hiking you may relax in our old-style sauna, which will be ready for you to enjoy every evening at 5 pm. Our hot tubs are available for rent with a supplement. After sauna, you can have dinner in our rustic restaurant, or a snack in the kota while you wait to see the Northern Lights.

Transfers to and from airport, and to and from the beginning of the hiking trails, can be arranged upon agreement. We have a possibility to arrange rental cars for you to enjoy during your stay.
