WHAT’S INCLUDED?
An experienced local guide is at your service during the whole trip. You will get to loan safety wear and also winter wear if needed.
In the beginning we’ll spend a moment to learn how to control the horse. If you buy an 1 hour ride then the riding time is 1 hour in the forest.
Coffee or tea / juice is included in the longer rides (2 hours or more). Overnight trips include sauna services as well as daily meals.
You can also get driving instructions and drive to the stables yourselves by your own car or by a rented car. Notice that we have 3 different stables in 3 different addresses, so please ask beforehand by message in which stables your ride is prepared.
WHEN AND WHERE IT’S AVAILABLE?
The main stables in Simo are open by request from Monday to Friday between 17.30-19.30 and on weekends on Saturday mornings or on Sunday afternoons.
Every other weekend we can arrange over night trails and longer horse camps in Simo or in other locations in Lapland (Rovaniemi or Pello) by request.

Cancellation policy – activities
We apply the following penalties for cancellations and modifications:
- If received up to 20 days before the activity: no penalties are applied.
- If received between 3 and 19 days before the activity: 50% penalty is applied.
- If received less than 3 days before the activity: 100% penalty is applied.
Please arrive on time, for delays of more than 15 minutes the execution of the safari is not guaranteed and the reservation will be charged anyway.
Force majeure
We reserve the right to shorten, alter or cancel activities due to force majeure events. These include, but are not limited to, severe weather (overly cold or warm weather), perilous snow conditions, scarcity or abundance of snow, lack of guides due to illness or accident. Additionally, we reserve the right to deny the right to conduct a sledge to individuals that the guides do not deem fit for the purpose – such individuals will be instructed to sit in the sled.
Compensation for damage
You are responsible for securing your own insurance policy. We never take responsibility for damage that is originated from incorrect adherence to the given security instructions.
